Description This series is one of the newly developed subjects in the 9-year Basic Education Curriculum (BEC) of the NERDC. The subject was derived from the old Social Studies and Citizenship Education. These series of books, written by selected members of the NERDC and other seasoned educators in the field, have been prepared to enlighten pupils on their social responsibilities in both the family and the community. This pupil’s textbook comes with its corresponding workbook and contains many examination questions which can be used by teachers to test the understanding of the pupils and to grade them at the end of the school term.
